You’re reading Productivity Headquarters — the weekly letter that helps you stay organized, use your time well, and make steady, meaningful progress.
Hey Productivity Community,
If there’s one question I get asked often, it’s “What do you use to stay organized?” And while there’s no one-size-fits-all system, I’ve found a few tools that really carry the weight behind the scenes. These aren’t just apps I downloaded and forgot—they’re part of my daily flow. They help me keep my head on straight, show up when I say I will, and make space to actually do the work I care about.
Here’s a peek into what’s in my current productivity stack:
🧠 Notion + Google Calendar
I’ve tried a lot of tools, but this combo is my non-negotiable. Notion is where I map out my tasks, weekly planning, goals, and notes. It’s my digital HQ. But Google Calendar is what holds me accountable—it’s where the day actually happens.
The two work best together. When I block time in my calendar, I’m not just reacting to the day—I’m giving each task a place to live in real time. It keeps me from overbooking myself or losing track of what matters most that week. If it’s not in the calendar, it’s probably not getting done.
📱 Widgetwall
This one might be less talked about, but it’s such a gem. Widgetwall gives me a clean, customizable dashboard where I can keep quick links, live widgets, and key info all in one space. I use it as a command center that pulls together things like my calendar, notes, timers, and more.
Instead of switching between a bunch of tabs or digging around for tools I use daily, everything is just there—easy to see, even easier to act on.
🤝 Clay
I’ve always cared about staying in touch with people, but it can be hard to keep up with every detail—especially when things get busy. Clay is my secret weapon for relationships.
It gently reminds me to follow up with people, stores key notes from past conversations, and helps me stay intentional with the folks in my network. It’s like a memory boost for my connections, and I appreciate that so much.
🎧 Apple Music
This might not sound like a productivity app on the surface, but let me be honest: I like using music to focus. Apple Music is my go-to for curated playlists that match my work mood—whether I need something low-fi and instrumental or upbeat to push through a tough block.
Having the right music in the background sets the tone and keeps me from getting too stuck in my own head. Some days, music is what carries the momentum when everything else feels a little sluggish.
These tools aren’t just about aesthetics or hype—they help me stay focused, work smarter, and feel supported throughout the week. I don’t use dozens of apps. Just a few that actually work for me.
If you’ve got go-to productivity tools of your own, I’d love to hear what’s in your rotation. Hit reply or leave a comment—I’m always curious how other people build their systems.
Until next time,
Tamia L.
